Bethany Breeden is proud to lead the Concord University Dance Team as Head Coach, bringing a lifetime of dance experience, leadership, and passion to the program. She began her dance training at the age of three at Princeton Dance Studio, where she was a dedicated company member from the seventh grade through high school. Throughout her time there, she competed at prestigious competitions such as Star Talent and Hollywood Vibe and attended classes/performed at the West Virginia Dance Festival from 2014 to 2019. She continues to share her expertise by substitute teaching at the studio when needed.
While a senior in high school, Bethany played a key role in shaping the newly formed PikeView Dance Team as its captain, choreographing the majority of the team’s sidelines and field show routine. In college, her choreographic talents extended, as she choreographed Bluefield High School’s 2024 musical Hairspray and assisted with Footloose in 2023, showcasing her creativity and ability to bring performances to life.
Her background also includes experience as a member of the Concord University Cheerleading Team from 2020 to 2022, where she had the opportunity to compete at UCA Nationals twice. Her experience in both cheer and dance allows her to develop well-rounded athletes who excel in both technique and performance.
As Head Coach, Bethany is fully dedicated to the growth and success of the Concord University Dance Team. She is excited to lead with passion, inspire her dancers, and build a strong, dynamic program that represents Concord with pride.
